Children's privacy
We never publish children's first names, surnames or photos on the site. A wish shows only the child's code, gender and age, and a description of the wish (for example size or colour). This keeps the child protected, while you know what to buy.
Donor data
When you reserve a wish, you enter your first name, surname and email address, and optionally a phone number and a short note. We use this data only to coordinate the giving: to send you a confirmation with the institution's address, a reminder before the deadline and a thank-you, and to contact you if needed.
We keep donor data permanently, as a record of who gave a gift to which institution and which child. If you would like us to delete your data, email us and we will delete it.
Contact form
When you write to us through the contact form, we use your name, email and message only to reply to you.
Who we share data with
We do not sell your data or pass it on for advertising. The site runs with the help of technical services: Heroku (hosting, EU), Neon (database, Frankfurt), Cloudflare (images and domain) and Gmail (sending emails). They store and process the data only so that the site works.
Cookies
The site uses only cookies that are technically necessary for it to work. We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics or advertising.
